October was UGA Without Border’s Hunger Month. Team Leaders and Members stood in Tate Plaza raising awareness and playing www.freerice.com. However, the work shouldn’t stop there. Below is a link that can be the first small step towards making a difference.

November is UGA Without Border’s Poverty Month.

According to UNICEF, 25,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death.” Don’t let that be the fate of millions of children. All it takes to make a difference is a little time on your part to be aware and find ways to make a difference. For a population of people living on less than $10 a day, any little bit can help.
